Wessex Vineyards Association Wine Competition Results

The annual wine competition was held on the 8th of December at The Guildhall in Winchester.  45 wines from across the region were tasted by our judging panel with 5 Gold Medals, 5 Silver Medals and 15 Bronze medals being awarded.

The team of judges comprised Sally Easton MW, Peter Richards MW, Erica Dent WSET Diploma, Sara Bangert WSET Diploma and the UKVA’s General Secretary Jo Cowderoy WSET Diploma.

The Wessex Wine of the Year was awarded to Hattingley Valley Sparkling Rosé, many congratulations.
